What safety measures should I take for my property?
We know that the safety of your property is a top priority. That’s why we have strict procedures in place to screen travelers before they stay at your property. We use a combination of technology and manual checks to ensure that travelers are who they say they are, and that they can be trusted. In addition, we havean emergency assistance service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Thanks to our rigorous selection of travelers and the security measures we put in place, you can trust us to ensure the safety of your property.
Do I have to pay registration fees?
Registering and preparing your property to host travelers with Nestor Conciergerie Privée is made easy with our one-time registration fee (amount varies based on property size, location and availability). This fee covers the visit to your property for a professional photo shoot and to check that it has all the facilities required to welcome travelers, as well as the creation of your online advert on various short-term rental platforms. Set-up fees are not billed in advance, but are deducted from the first month’s rental income.
Janitorial fees are too high
Are you wondering why our concierge service represents such a large proportion of your total income? First of all, you have to deduct the cleaning costs, which will accumulate according to the number of stays, and sometimes there are a lot of them! And the commission part gives us the means to provide a quality service for your travelers. In this way, we create a virtuous circle, with satisfied travelers leaving good ratings, which in turn enables us to fill our calendars and raise prices to optimize profitability. And so the question is no longer “how much does it cost?” but rather “how much does it bring in?”.
Who pays the platform fees?
These fees are mandatory* to be able to market your property on the various marketplaces (Platforms such as Airbnb, Booking, …). But don’t panic, it doesn’t change a thing for you: just adjust the price (for example, to 20% to make calculations easier):
Situation 1: Price per night: 100€ / → Traveller fee (15%): 15€ / → Owner fee (5%): 5€ / ☞ The owner gets 95€ / ☞ The traveller pays 115€. Situation 2: Price per night: €115 / → Traveler fee (0%): €0 / → Owner fee (20%): €20 / ☞ Owner gets €95 / ☞ Traveler pays €115 The financial impact is nil, unlike the psychological impact: The traveler pays the same but feels like a winner because on most properties, he pays a platform fee.
* This is a commission that the platforms take on bookings. Either you use a single platform and can share these costs with travelers, or you use a channel manager to distribute your property on different platforms, and these costs are borne by the owner.
